Ricky was on vacation last week and got to spend everyday with us!  We loved having him home and did a lot of fun family things!!

After a long HOT afternoon Bella cuddled with her cousins and watched a movie to cool off.
On Friday, Ricky and I took the girls to Lookout Ridge Indoor Playground.  They had so much fun!  They have a trampoline, slides, tunnels and huge climbers.  They both took a three hour nap after....NICE!

We also had so much fun just hanging out at home playing dress up and swimming in the pool!

Twinkle Twinkle

Bella loves Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and is so cute when she sings it.  Whenever I get the camera out she is ready to sing out loud.  How cute is she?!?! 



Hotel swimming

We have been battling the heat by spending most of our time swimming the last few days.  My Uncle Dale and Aunt Laura had a hotel room while they were in town visiting so we were lucky enough to have the pool when it was so hot.  Bella and Gracie are both little fish and love to be in the water.  We had so much fun with them and are so sad they are back home.  Come back and see us soon!!! 

Hastings Parade

Ricky was in the Hastings parade this past weekend and Bella, Aunt Laura and I went to watch!  It was sooo hot...but Bella was a trooper drinking lots of water and chocolate milk.   

Strawberry picking

On Tuesday Bella, my mom and I went Strawberry picking for the third time this season.  I have never liked strawberry picking...I am more of an "indoor girl".  With terrible allergies and a embarrassing fear of anything creepy crawly I am not much for sitting in the weeds.  Luckily, Bella is not scared of bugs at all and has no problem sitting in the weeds.  As for strawberries, I think they may be her favorite fruit.

I told her to find the really red strawberries and put them in her basket.  Her idea of picking strawberries was taking them out of Grandma Terri's box and putting them in hers.  Why didn't I think of that?   

We picked a lot of berries.  Next task...making strawberry jam.  

She ate a few before we got home!



Summer Fun

It has been beautiful outside and after a LONG winter and not so nice spring, we are tying to get outside and enjoy everyday!  Bella loves to swing and play in her sandbox.  Gracie could spend hours playing in the watertable.  They are loving their new backyard and I am loving our new fence.  Thanks Rick and Ricky.  It is so awesome letting Bella run all over the backyard and not having to worry!
